A day in Fremantle

G'Day pommies just got back from first major outing. Left Duxton Hotel 9am and got on boat for one hour ride down Swan river to the sea at Fremantle. No sea sickness (sorry to disappoint). Absolutely baking hot today up to 40 degrees.  Fremantle is where all convicts to Australia were processed  in the 19th century before being distributed across the continent. We went on tram ride through the town and had very nice fish and chips for lunch before wandering round various markets. Bought a hat each as someone forgot to pack any.....guess who? A beer or two, an ice cream and wine tasting on boat back to Perth...its a hard life. Resting for an hour or two before back out for evening meal on another boat.
