Dolphins, piers and kookaburras

Hello all
First I have to say that although I took some fab pics today I have so far not been able to post them via the net connection at our current location. ....I will try and resolve this ASAP.
We left Perth at a rather ungodly 8am, boarded a coach and headed south for about 2 hours to Dolphin Discovery Centre at Bunbury. Sorry I have to digress as was writing this on my balcony two parrots just flew down to say hello and I had to take some pictures......anyway back to the dolphin centre. Every day some completely wild dolphins come very close to the beach here and we were fortunate enough that one came extremely close to us....A truly beautiful sight.
Then it was back on the road to Busselton where they have the longest wood-piled pier  in the southern hemisphere at 1.8km. ...Needless to say me and Mrs C did it at a brisk walk in 40 degree heat.......Nik was a ball of sweat and I got a blister...lol.
However this was soon forgotten after a cool beer and some food.
Final journey took us to our home for the next two nights.....Seashells Resort at Yallingup. A truly stunning location staying in a lovely apartment with a veranda overlooking a eucalyptus forest next to the coast. We took a walk to the sea and on the way saw some friendly kookaburras. This is a surfers beach and the sea is BIG.....will try to go in in tomorrow after our trips out.
Just about to chuck a couple of steaks on the barbie and open a bottle......until next time......
