Cairns.....warm and wet

Well we left the red centre lunchtime and got a flight to Cairns.  It's sub tropical here very humid with rain in the air. Nik and I were due to go on a balloon flight tomorrow morning but it has been cancelled due to expected rain and wind. ....Taz not too sorry as was a 4am start!
We are instead going into the rain forest via train and sky rail so will report on that soon. Cairns a very hip and happening place. ...lots of bars and eateries......
